These are the knives I am currently working on, they are all hand forged from 1084 high carbon steel. I will continue to post updates following my progress.
This is all the knives on the bench as of May 15.
1: My steak knife, heat treated and waiting for a handle.
2: An extremely light drop point hunter, forged from 1084 steel.
3: This is a small skinner / EDC knife, forged from 1084 steel.4: A drop point hunter forged from 1084 steel.
5: A drop point hunter forged from 1084 steel.
6: Utility knife deferentially heat treated with a distinct acid etched hamon.
7: A 5" fighter deferentially heat treated and acid etched to reveal its hamon.
8: This is a very large camp knife, bordering on the edge of being a machete. The blade is 9.5" long and made out of 1084 high carbon steel
9: A hunter modeled after a Bark River knife, 1084 high carbon steel.
10: Another hunter modeled after a Bark River knife this one features a very distinct distal taper in the handle and the blade, by far the lightest blade i have ever made.
11: A few forged blades waiting to be cleaned up.
12: This years Boy Scout whittling knives, 2 of these will be the first knives given to my children.
